One of the Lost Boys

Can we first address the fact that I look like I'm going to bed. Yeah, but I can't help it though. There were plenty of activities scheduled for the day and I just want to be as comfy as I could be and true enough I didn't complain one bit (which is saying a lot since I'm with my brothers and they're hella energetic).

I did get a lot of looks here and there but I didn't mind it. I actually felt good about it because for a very long time I have been dressing for the society. I tried my best to be wholesome (not that this outfit is not) and decent with the way I dress even if it means putting a limit on my creativity. I know now that whether it's a bad thing or a good thing it's kind of nice to get those what-is-she-wearing-looks, because it means that I'm standing out and that's good enough for me.

Jarred

Last month I took a huge step and start living healthy. I work out (Boxing, blogilates, jogging, etc.) at least 4 times a week and I am also trying to eat clean. But once in awhile I treat myself and indulge on sinful foods, yes, I have a cheat day! In most of my cheat days I always crave for sweets and I found one that I think would definitely go on my list of favorite treats!

"Jarred" is what this product is called and obviously because it's in a jar. A very convenient packaging for when you want to bring it to places. It's perfect for students like me since I am constantly either at school or running errands for school.

What I like most about this is it has fruits in it so it makes me feel like not cheating at all. It's super delicious and a very satisfying snack.

I believe there are 2 other flavors available but for me, this one is the winner.

Dainty

I need a break! It's Sunday and it's a day for cramming school works, well at least it is for me ( #procrastination). But I need a break from all of that because if I don't I'm going to explode, besides I really miss blogging.

Last christmas break, I told myself I was going to take more outfit shots and do more youtube videos, but since my cousins came home from Canada, I don't want to spend more time in front of the camera instead of bonding with them so I ended up just having one outfit shot and zero video. It's totally worth it, spending time with them, because they made my holiday way more fun. They went home yesterday and I miss them already.

Speaking of holidays, I wore this outfit to a christmas party my family always attend and in fact this is our 4th year going. Since I really wanted to wear a dress that time, I did! I also thought this particular dress is perfect for a christmas party because it has greens and reds in it.

The dress is very dainty, but since it's a party I decided to take this outfit up a notch through my accessories. I wore my all time favorite statement necklace and matched it with my future all time favorite watch (it a christmas gift and I love it! thanks Mom and Dad).

I decided to wear my glitter shoes to add more of that holiday feel in my outfit. Plus who doesn't want a little bit of glitter :)

Well that is it! I probably should be going back with my school work. Ciao for now!

Vivid

This year for my dad's birthday we decided to celebrate it as a family. We hopped the plane to Cebu and had a 3-day long vacation there. We watched movies, played bowling, and just spend the time together. And honestly, this is one of the family vacation I enjoyed the most. And while we're there I took the opportunity to take some outfit shots, because I tell you that place is freaking beautiful.

Knowing that Cebu is going to be hot, I decided to go for something fun and bright, and since I was in the mood for color blocking, why not? I am always fond of combining different colors together and be surprised how they look good together, exhibit A.

Even if the color combination reminded me slightly of an eggplant, i don't really care, I like it LOL.

One thing that I know about color blocking is to not over do it. The key is to incorporate some neutral pieces, in that way you can balance your outfit and won't look like a walking rainbow. In my case, I neutarlized my outfit through my purse (well technically it's my mom's purse).

For accessories, I kept it very simple and light. I used this long spike necklace that I got at claires and some bracelets with the same color palette as my outfit. Then again, when color blocking you don't need alot of accessories beacaue the outfit itself already makes a statement.

Well, sembreak's over and back to reality. I hope I spent my hours well this sembreak because for sure I will not have some free time for the next few months.
Good luck!

Casual Elegance

Every semestral break my Mom always asks me to look out for my little brother which means, I need to go with him at his school which was also my alma mater. Even though whenever I go there I have to walk through some judging eyes, I like visiting my old school, I like the place's familiarity.

I am a Montessorian at heart so when I went there I still followed the dress code of the school which is very simple, no shorts and no slippers.

I wanted to wear something casual yet classy, something that is effortless yet elegant. So I just threw on a basic white top with my favorite black jeans ( which got destroyed by the way), added an elegant necklace and I'm good to go.

I think i want to lean more to this type of oufits. It's very simple but you can hear what it want's to say very clearly.

Have a nice day.
